A little about me

I’m dave!

I'm based in Doncaster, but travel all over the country (for any excuse really!) I was born in Wiltshire, studied at the University of Plymouth & spent most of my years around the south west coast, so you'll definitely hear some of my pirate 'rrrrrs' by the end of the night!

I've got an incredibly supportive partner & family, who've all supported & encouraged me to pursue my dream career, to make it a reality. For that, I will always be grateful.

Relationship with photography

I love nature and adventure, and always wanted to document my time outside. With a background in wildlife and landscape photography, it was always a dream to make this my full time career!

With wedding photography, I get the privilege to share the happiest days of countless people's lives. For me, my job isn't work. I don't just take photographs, I capture those memories to last generations & make countless friends along the way.

I absolutely love that each wedding is completely and utterly unique & really enjoy how couples choose to make the venue their own for their special day, from dresses & suits, to flowers & favours!

I enjoy capturing the details that make your occasion special & meaningful to you; from reading letters from loved ones, your first moments as a married couple, or remembering those that couldn't make it. This makes receiving your gallery even more precious, so you can re-live that special day all over again!

Seeing couples commit to spending the rest of their lives together & trusting me to document it in pictures, is something I deeply cherish.

Why choose me?

I've had a camera by my side for most of my life. My dad was a huge inspiration, even gave me his Olympus OM-10 as a boy (with no films in!) to learn how to use a camera. I started shooting wildlife & landscape photography, then progressing professionally into wedding, couple & school photography.

You won't meet anyone more passionate or who looks forward to doing their job more than me.

I love to be prepared and plan the day with you as a partnership, so I know everything you want from your photographer on your day. I shoot unobtrusively, blend in with your day and capture it as it naturally unfolds.
